Back to our regular programming, where my actual pickups posts get zero engagement.

I've been working on a new, bespoke noiseless P90 and HSP90 design. I've never been a big fan of our other companies make noiseless "P90s," they're either sidewinder designs, or super complicated 4 coil designs, none seem to have actual P90 geometry.

I set out to change that. This is a stacked P90 coil, with enough room for the wide wind of the P90 coil, with my Tuned Aperture added to sweeten the high strings. The difference here is that the magnets are not under the pickup, or even in the coil, they sit on the outside of the coil, with the same pole facing up. This solves another problem I've always heard, stacked single coils just don't sound that good without modifications like the Kinman stuff. They tend to sound thin in my experience. Moving the magnets outside the coil widens the magnetic field and increases the output of the top most coil. In this design that gives the pickup the correct P90 tone I've been looking for in a noiseless design.

I'm working on getting clips to properly launch this concept. I've spent many hours playing on a set of these and this is exactly what I envisioned from a noiseless P90. P90 tone without the complications or compromises. I'm extremely stoked on this design.

On another note, one person decided they needed to announce their departure, complaining that they don't want political posts. I'm sorry, but I won't stop. This person professed interest in pickups, yet had never once commented on my previous pickups post. If you want something in your feed, please engage with it. These bullshit algorithms reward divisive topics with engagement, while the stuff I actually want to post about gets abysmal engagement. If we want these sites to be better, it starts with us.

And we've got a new friend exploding off my Bambu Labs P1S 3d printer, a creeper I printed for my girlfriends kid. This is printed in ASA, and fully printed in place so it's poseable right off the build plate, no assembly required. 3d printing is getting so good.

The first image is a chrome covered Trident I/II Hybrid bridge, featuring a ceramic magnet and gold hex poles.

And finally, the RGMS7 set. This set is a fun one, it's our Hellfire wind, a real fire breather, but tamed with an A5 bar magnet in the bridge, A2 in the neck, and black hex poles. Should sound really great!
